My 365~Day 2

Hi guys, thanks to those of you who commented on fb, it really encourages me. Today's subject is one of the family felines, he was actually my Moms favorite cat. When she was in her last days he would curl up on the bed beside her and just snuggle in, there is something to be said for that kind of peace at the end of your journey. Anyway he has been with us for some 12 years now and he is a great old guy, his name is Jasper but my Mom somehow ended up calling him Jappy and it just stuck with him. That makes me smile just thinking about it, she used to mispronounce all kinds of words and I would tease the pants off her and we would laugh so hard sometimes at some of the names that she would come up with. Jappy is getting old now, he doesn't move as easily anymore, but he is still the boss if you know what I mean.

I used the same lens as yesterday and my tripod. I am having fun messing around with all of the features on my camera, just so you know I took 30 photos and only one survived.

Talk to you tomorrow

The Right Hand Man! Jappy looks impressed as usual. Taking 30 shots to get 1 good one is not a rare thing, sometimes the first one is the best but most time it takes a while to warm up. Don't be scared to get on the same level as your subject, sometimes it pays off even if it means you have to get dirty! I have one suggestion for you. Bring up your photo info in Iphoto and post it with your picture. It will help you get more familiar with the settings you have used and help me tell you what could have been done differently.
example: Mode P, F/5.6, 1/125, ISO 200, 85mm, focus mode and metering mode can also be added if you feel like it.
